2.Description of the Moldan Cup
The Moldan Cup is a cup ranking consisting of independent running events.
Participation in individual races or in all races is possible.
Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG acts exclusively as the cup organizer and ranking coordinator.
3.Terms of Participation & Liability
Participation in the Moldan Cup is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
The individual running events are organized and carried out by independent local organizers.
The respective event organizer alone is responsible for organization, execution, safety, course routing, on-site timing, and for any accidents, injuries, or damages.
Any claims of any kind (in particular claims arising from accidents, injuries, material or financial damages) cannot be asserted against Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG.
The participation conditions of the respective race organizers also apply.
Minors may only participate with the consent of a legal guardian.
Legal recourse is excluded.
4.Rankings & Prizes
The following rankings are conducted as part of the Moldan Cup:
• Fastest female runner / fastest male runner (best individual time from the two fastest races)
• Participant with the highest number of completed races (determined by lottery)
In the event of a tie in time or points, the better individual time decides.
If a tie remains, the decision is made by drawing lots.
5.What personal data is processed?
As part of registration and execution of the Moldan Cup, the following personal data is processed:
• First and last name
• Date of birth or age group
• Gender
• Bib number / participant ID
• Mobile phone number
• Club / team
• Email address
• Running times, placements, and number of participations
6. Purpose of data processing
Personal data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
• Organization and execution of the Moldan Cup ranking
• Time and result evaluation and determination of winners
• Communication with participants (e.g. organizational information)
• Invitation to a WhatsApp channel related to the Moldan Cup
• Sending reminder emails for running events
• Sending informational and promotional emails from Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG
Personal data is not used for the execution of the individual running events.
These are the responsibility of the respective local organizers.
7.Legal basis for processing
Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, based on your voluntary consent, which you provide when registering for the Moldan Cup.
8.WhatsApp Channel
Participants may be invited to a WhatsApp channel via the provided mobile phone number.
• Participation in the WhatsApp channel is voluntary
• The channel can be left independently at any time
• The privacy policies of WhatsApp also apply
9.Email communication & advertising
If an email address is provided, it will be used for:
• Reminders regarding individual running events
• Information and advertising from Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG
Consent to receive these emails may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
10.Publication of results
As part of the Moldan Cup, the following data may be published:
• First and last name
• Age group
• Club / team (if provided)
• Running times and placements
Publication may take place via:
• Result lists
• Notice boards
• The website and social media channels of Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG
11.Storage period
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the execution, evaluation, and documentation of the Moldan Cup.
After completion of the cup, the data will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations exist.
12. Disclosure of data
Personal data is not disclosed to third parties by Moldan Ortho GmbH & Co. KG.
This does not affect the independent data processing carried out by the respective race organizers as part of their events.
13.Rights of data subjects
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right at any time to:
• Information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Correction of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
